FAQs
Zamzam water
Passengers departing from King Fahad International Airport (DMM) & Prince Nayef Bin Abdulaziz International Airport (ELQ):

Passengers may check in up to 5 kg of Zamzam water (total).

This allowance is free of charge and in addition to your standard baggage allowance.

Water must be securely wrapped or packaged for acceptance.
Passengers departing from King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) & Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport (MED):

Passengers may check in up to 5 litres of Zamzam water (total).

This allowance is free of charge and in addition to your standard baggage allowance.

Zamzam water must be purchased exclusively from the Zamzam Water Company at these airports.

Only water sealed, wrapped, and packaged by the Zamzam Water Company will be accepted.

Zamzam water is not permitted in cabin baggage and can only be transported as checked baggage.
Passengers departing from King Khalid International Airport (RUH)

Zamzam water is not permitted as either carry-on or checked-in baggage.

Musical instruments
Passengers may carry small musical instruments as hand baggage if they meet the allowed size and weight limits.

Valuable instruments as hand baggage:
If your instrument exceeds hand baggage size or weight, you must purchase an additional seat (subject to availability) in the same travel class. -
Larger instruments as checked baggage:
May be accepted if there is space in the cargo hold, subject to excess baggage charges. -
Hand baggage limits (Economy Class):
Maximum size 55 cm x 38 cm x 20 cm and maximum weight 7 kg. -
Hand baggage limits (Business Class):
Up to two items of hand baggage, with a combined weight of 14 kg. Each item must not exceed 55 cm x 38 cm x 20 cm.
Televisions (TVs)

TVs may be carried as checked baggage only.

The maximum size permitted is 55 inches.

Some airports only accept TVs up to 32 inches – please check local rules at your departure and arrival airports.
Important:

A handling fee applies for TVs larger than 32 inches.

The fee is charged per TV unit per flight and must be paid at check-in.

The weight of the TV counts toward your baggage allowance.
Animals

Animals are generally not permitted in the cabin.

Falcons may be carried onboard only with special prior approval – contact our customer support team for details.

Bicycles

One non-motorised bicycle may be transported if placed in a protective bag, case, or box.

Pedals must be removed, handlebars fixed inline with the frame, and tyres deflated.

A bicycle (including its container) not exceeding 15 kg will be carried free of charge, in addition to your baggage allowance.

Please note: BADR Airlines does not provide bicycle boxes.
Fishing

Permitted items include: two rods, one reel, one pair of fishing boots, one tackle, and one landing net, packed in a purpose-made bag.

Accepted as checked baggage.

Excess baggage charges apply if oversized.
SCUBA Diving Equipment
